K.C. Barr

Senior Director of Operations

K.C. Barr brings more than 20 years of leadership experience spanning federal consulting, enterprise operations, and military command. As Senior Director of Operations at Aleto, he focuses on strengthening operational infrastructure, enhancing quality and risk management practices, and building scalable systems that support high-performing teams and consistent client delivery.

Prior to joining Aleto, K.C. held leadership roles supporting federal clients at PwC and Guidehouse, where he led initiatives focused on operational governance, quality systems, risk management, and client experience across complex consulting programs. He is known for translating strategic objectives into practical operating models that improve performance and help organizations scale effectively.

Earlier in his career, K.C. served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps, progressing from enlisted infantryman to commissioned officer and later commanding Weapons Company 3rd Battalion 3rd Marines during combat operations in Afghanistan. For his leadership in combat, he was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with Combat “V” for valor.

Outside of work, K.C. enjoys writing about leadership and decision-making, and he is involved in creative projects that explore music, storytelling, and educational content. He is the father of seven children—four boys and three girls—who are now grown and pursuing their own paths.
